The Castro Street Fair is a community street celebration that was founded by Harvey Milk in 1974.
The Fair is located in the heart of San Francisco’s Castro District, at the intersection of Market & Castro Streets and the surrounding area. Hundreds of local artists, vendors, craftspeople, and organizations line the streets and celebrate the diversity of the neighborhood. Stages with live entertainment and dance stages can be found throughout the fairgrounds.
We are in need of volunteers to help at our booth handing out free literature, speaking with attendees, and accepting donations. It’s a wonderful opportunity to engage with the community and see in real life the impact you can have. To volunteer, please fill out the form here with information on when you are available during the two day event.
