Healthcare
GayLesta. The Psychotherapist Association for Gender and Sexual Diversity, was founded in 1987. Since this beginning, Gaylesta has grown to include over 300 mental health professionals. They are the oldest and largest collection of individuals focused on LGBTQ mental health.
Magnet. Health services for gay, bi and queer men in the Bay Area.
Lyon-Martin Transgender Health Services. A trans-affirmative environment that encourages patients to develop an ongoing relationship with one of our transgender specialists that goes beyond just getting hormones and looks at all of their health and wellness needs.
Maitri. Providing hospice and 24-hour care to men and women living with AIDS.
Bay Positives. Young People with HIV Supporting Young People with HIV
Bridge HIV. (formerly the HIV Research Section), of the San Francisco Department of Public Health, is a leader in HIV prevention research, working with Bay Area communities to discover effective prevention strategies that will reduce the impact of HIV/AIDS globally

Queer Life Space. Queer LifeSpace firmly believe that a queer community that invests in its mental health is a queer community that thrives. This belief has fueled our dedication to providing effective, affordable mental health and substance abuse services to as much of our community as we possibly can.

Gender Spectrum In a simple, straightforward manner, we provide consultation, training and events designed to help families, educators, professionals, and organizations understand and address the concepts of identity and expression.
QWOCMAP Queer Women of Color Media Arts Project (QWOCMAP) uses film to shatter stereotypes and bias, reveal the lived truth of inequality, and build community around art and activism. They have many opportunities for people of all ages to participate in creative filmmaking.
PFLAG Connects: Communities – Asian American & Pacific Islander Community These virtual meetings are open to parents, family members, and members of the LGBTQ+ community who are AAPI. Each meeting will be led by members of the AAPI community who will guide you in receiving support, giving support, and finding resources to help you, your family, and your community.
Bisexual Resource Center As the oldest nationally-focused bisexual organization in the U.S., the BRC continues to raise awareness and build bridges within the LGBT and ally communities, and fosters bi-supportive social and political space wherever it can.
Trikone offers a supportive, empowering and non-judgmental environment where LGBTQ South Asians and their allies can meet, make connections, and proudly promote awareness and acceptance of their sexual identity.
Financial & Legal
The LGBT Asylum Project The LGBT Asylum Project is the only San Francisco nonprofit organization exclusively dedicated to providing accessible legal representation for LGBT asylum seekers who are fleeing persecution due to their sexual orientation, gender identity and/or HIV status.
Aids Legal Referral Panel. AIDS Legal Referral Panel of the San Francisco Bay Area
Human Services of San Francisco. Aid for low-income San Franciscans, including those who cannot work or are refugees. Help with food, housing, health care, as well as cash assistance is available.
Equality California With over 900,000 members, Equality California is the nation’s largest statewide LGBTQ+ civil rights organization. And we’re California’s only LGBTQ+ civil rights organization working at the local, state and national levels.
